As some of you know I am attending the Waupun Truck n Show in Waupun, Wi. next weeken. This is a 1:1 truck show with a model truck contest as part of the venue. I attended this 2 years ago and took 3rd place along with minor damage to my model. Well learning from that experiance I knew I needed a case for the next model I would take to this show. This is what I came up with to house my Flamed Peterbilt 359 and the all chome Beal Tanker. I built this for $60.00. It made with 2 pieces of 3/4" oak and 1/4" thick plexi glass. I started it late yeserday afternoon and just finished. Let me know what you think.

Looks very nice, but I would try to make a "roadbed" or something like that on the bottom, I think it would really add to your truck, that or you could mirror the bottom to show underside detail. Just trying to give you some ideas. Jim

Simple to make, go to the local hardware store and have them cut the plexi glass to you specified demensions, glue it up with some tenex glue, polish out the glue seams and make a base. Most of your time will be spent polishing out the seams.
